5 tips to start your clean living journey

5 TIPS TO START YOUR CLEAN LIVING JOURNEY

1. REVIEW YOUR CURRENT PRODUCTS

Look at your beauty and household items. Get rid of things you no longer use, and then list the ones you want to replace. Start with the products you use most often. Here are some examples:

Beauty: lotion, toothpaste, hair products, deodorant, etc.
Household: cleaning products, candles, air fresheners, etc.

2. REPLACE PRODUCTS AS NEEDED

Look at your beauty and household items and determine which contain toxins like phthalates and parabens. Those are the ones you'll want to replace first. Then prioritize based on the products you use most often.

3. PUT THE PRODUCT TO THE TEST

Be sure to give it a few tries to see if it works. Some products take getting used to simply because they work differently than what you're used to. Don't give up; it'll be worth it once you find a suitable replacement. Reminder: Some products, such as natural deodorants, may take some time to work because your body has to detox first. But after that period, it's smooth (and fresh) sailing.

4. JOIN FORCES WITH A FRIEND

To help you stay motivated, and to save money, consider taking this journey with a friend. You can each choose a product to test out and then report back. Then you can swap products and repeat. This approach allows you to try both products while saving you money (if you need a different fit.)

Once you find something that works, share your knowledge with other friends and fam. Let's get non-toxic living trending!

5. IT'S NOT ALL OR NOTHING

Remind yourself that every product swap that replaces the conventional equivalent improves your health and the environment. It doesn't have to be the best of the best, and it doesn't have to be everything all at once. Every change (big or small) will benefit your health.

BONUS TIP:
